In the world of recruitment, it's not uncommon for top performers to rise through the ranks quickly!!

Luke joined Royal Educare in April 2021, eager to kick-start his career in the world of recruitment having had hands on experience in the social care sector in a sales based role previous to this. Luke also had experience at deputy manager level within retail so his people skills shone through and set him up to be a success. With his past experience and clear passion for helping others, he knew that social care recruitment was his calling (I mean, helping others is what we aim to do every day). Luke's determination and ability to connect with people quickly caught the attention of his manager Paul Beasley, and he was soon enrolled on to a coaching and mentoring qualification to further enhance his clear credentials.

As a trainee recruitment consultant, Luke threw himself into his work, building relationships with clients and candidates. He quickly gained a reputation for being able to find the right candidate for even the most challenging ad – hoc / temporary roles. He also had a knack for building strong relationships with clients (whilst enjoying fish and chips with the elderly residents at care homes across RCT – he keeps reminding us of this), understanding their needs, and delivering on their expectations.

Throughout the last 2 years, it hasn’t all been plane sailing for Luke. He started on the temporary recruitment division, moving over to the permanent recruitment division, before moving back to where he realised his true potential laid ‘temporary recruitment’!

It wasn't long before Luke's hard work paid off. He brought on the second-largest account in the business (local authority), which was a huge win for Royal Educare. His success did not go unnoticed, and his manager soon realised that Luke had the potential to lead a team of his own.

Within just two years of joining the company, Luke was promoted to team leader, overseeing a team of recruitment consultants who specialise in temporary social care recruitment. Luke's new role was a significant challenge, but he was more than up to the task. He drew upon his experience as a trainee consultant, building a strong rapport with his team members and working closely with them to achieve their goals.

As a team leader, Luke continues to deliver excellent results for his clients, building on his reputation for being able to find the right candidate for even the most challenging ad – hoc / temporary roles. He also mentors his team members, helping them to develop their skills and achieve their own goals.

Luke's success story is a testament to the importance of hard work, dedication, and the ability to connect with people. His passion for social care recruitment, combined with his exceptional skills, allowed him to achieve a promotion to team leader in less than two years.

His achievements are an inspiration to anyone who aspires to achieve great things in their career.

Here’s a thank you from the manager Paul Beasley and the directors Alex & Victoria for all the hard work and support you have provided Royal Educare’
