Job Description

We are looking for support worker's who will support people to build relationships, develop new skills, try new activities and seek out new opportunities. Can you empower people with who sometimes display complex behaviours/ mental health to make their own choices, learn from their experiences and achieve their goals and aspirations? If so this could be the career for you! We want to recruit positive support worker who can be team players who are outgoing, flexible and enthusiastic; as a support worker you will focus on enabling people to build on their strengths, skills and abilities. We are looking to recruit an active and physically fit individuals to workers to work with our clients who have a range of learning difficulties, complex behaviour and mental health needs. You must have a positive and calm approach and be able to manage difficult situations positively. You will be able to use own initiative as well as following set plans and routines to meet the needs of the people supported. The Ideal candidate must be patient and understanding. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work shift patterns, complete sleep-in and wake-in shifts, and be flexible to work at short notice if required.


  • Ensure the highest quality of care is provided to our clients through their person-centered care plans to achieve and exceed potential
  • Promote the right values and attitudes towards people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs and behaviours described as challenging
  • Facilitating social, educational or work activities such as visiting family and friends, walks, shopping and other recreational activities of their choice.
  • Liaise with families, friends, advocates, external agencies and the management team to provide a consistent approach that meets the individual needs of each service user.
  • Complete records and documentation of progress, incidents and activities.
  • Promote and uphold the privacy, rights, dignity, health and wellbeing of the individuals.
  • General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care to help Service Users.
