Royal Educare are currently seeking a Registered Manager to work for one of our clients in the South Wales area in a well established, well maintained and reputable care home.

Efficiently manage the day to day running of the home. Allocate resources and monitor performance to deliver high quality residential care to residents within budget. Manage all aspects of the staff team and provide sound leadership. You will manage the safety and quality of the business and be responsible for safe delivery of the service. Promoting the residents rights and person-centred care choices will be core, you will put residents at the centre of decision making based on their needs and wishes, as well as creating and implementing their care plans. Leadership and management must be effective, you will manage effective recruitment, training and identify ongoing needs of staff development in line with best current practice. The business must also be promoted in the best possible manner, you will attend meetings and represent the care home professionally from the outset. This is not an exhaustive list and from time to time you may be required to undertake additional duties. You will be provided with full training in line with regulatory requirements.

7: Knowledge of how to recognise abuse and safeguarding procedures
8: Excellent communication skills.
9: Experience of building positive working relationships with people who use services and their families, staff and other health and social care professionals.
10: Ability to plan and organise workloads effectively so residents receive the services they expect.
1: Willingness to work flexibly and to keep knowledge and skills up to date.
2: Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service formally known as the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB).
3: Full UK drivers licence.
5: The minimum qualification required for this job is QCF 5 for Managers.
